Arnie was born and raised in Adams , ND where he graduated from High School. He received as BS degree in Business Education from Mayville State College and attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks pursuing a degree in School Administration. As a US Air Force veteran, Arnie has been awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal of Honor and served in Viet Nam . He is the proud parent of 3 children who have blessed him with 8 grandchildren.

After college Arnie taught school and was principal for one year at the Goodrich Public School in Goodrich , ND . From 1974 to 1990 Arnie worked for First Federal Savings Bank and Midwest Federal Savings Bank in various management positions throughout NE North Dakota. From 1990 to 1993 he worked for Home Federal Savings Bank in Sioux Falls , SD as a Vice-President and District Manager of Branch Operations. Since then Arnie has worked as a REALTOR and property manager in Bismarck , ND . As a licensed REALTOR, Arnie is able to sell real estate throughout the State of North Dakota.
